9 Superfoods to add to your life on a daily basis!

Are you wanting to live a more healthier lifestyle but you are just not sure of how to start it? Well I have an easy way to kick start your new lifestyle with 9 very simple superfoods!

Superfoods are not just foods, but also medicine. They are extremely rich in nutrients, and are a good choice for improving our health. They can completely satisfy our need for proteins, minerals, vitamins, and essential fatty acids. Superfoods contribute to natural metabolism regulation, and aid our bodies during detoxification periods.

These 9 superfoods are easy add-ons to your every day routine to improve your health. You can use them in so many ways! In your cooking, smoothies, oatmeal, coffee, yogurts…. the list is endless.

1) Maca Powder

Maca has shown positive results for reducing the effects of chronic fatigue syndrome in a variety of individual tests. Maca contains a variety of amino acids, which are the building blocks of hormones.

2) Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is one of the only sources of Lauric acid, other than mothers breast milk and has potent anti-microbial and anti-viral properties. It has been successfully used in the healing of diseases like Heart Disease, High Blood Pressure, Hypothyroid, Diabetes, HIV and Cancer.

3) Apple Cider Vinegar

Organic, raw apple cider vinegar is one of my top natural health remedies that I use every day — along with coconut oil.  I use this for several reasons, including detoxification, helping my body more easily digest foods and for a quick burst of energy.

Some examples of How of I use these 9 Superfoods!

With my Maca Powder I usually add it to all my smoothies. Normally a teaspoon.

My Coconut oil I use in so many ways. I cook with it, I put it in my smoothies, and use it for my skin. I usually mix an essential oil with it to put all over my body.

Turmeric I usually take it in capsule form. I do however sometimes mix it in my facial cleanser, or put a dab of it on my tooth brush. It really helps whiten your teeth.

Cinnamon I put in my coffee, hot chocolate, smoothies, yogurt.

My Chia, flax, hemp seeds I make a mixture of of three of them and pretty much put a teaspoon of that mixture in all of my cooking, smoothies, yogurts, oat meals… It has no taste so your family will never know you are giving them Omega 3’s!

Apple Cider vinegar I use to make salad dressings! I also usually, honestly, just take a swig of it straight from the bottle, at least twice a day. You get use to the taste. I actually like it!

Manuka honey I will put in my tea and do alot of cooking. I like to use this to sweeten up my salmon and make sauces wit it. Love my honey!
