Excess Sugar is destroying our Health!
Excess sugar will stay in the bloodstream! when that happens it will cause inflammation. This will then damage your arteries, over works your liver and start to produce cholesterol. Sugar is the #1 cause of heart disease, high cholesterol and high blood pressure!
Sugar also can cause leaky gut! Leaky gut is root of a lot of diseases and auto immune diseases today!
You have good bacteria and bad bacteria, fungi, yeast and so much more going on in your gut! When you get too much sugar in your diet, yeast and candida can feed off of that causing nutrient malabsorption and produces poisons that will start eating through your gut lining causing Leaky Gut Syndrome! In order to heal leaky gut, you must get rid of sugar out of your diet!
Cancer loves sugar! It has been known that if you cut out sugar from your diet it’s slows down the growth of cancer cells. When you cut sugar from your diet your body has no other choice but to, instead of burning sugar, it will then burn fat. This has been proven to benefit people with cancer, Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, weight loss and other gut related issues!
Excess sugar can also cause Depression. It can spike insulin! Insulin is a hormone that really help support your blood sugar. When too much sugar, it can spike the insulin causing fatigue, moody, anxiety, irritable and depression! Fight depression and go sugar free!

Using Essential Oils to kick the sugar cravings!
Food cravings are complicated. In fact, neuroscientists have yet to fully understand their root causes! Some experts posit that sugary foods lead to more intense cravings because glucose communicates with brain receptors that can trigger addiction. While the jury is out, recent research has demonstrated that smelling odors, like eucalyptus, actually reduces food cravings.
Regardless of whether your cravings stem from boredom, depression, or addiction, below are six essential oils that will curb any craving and keep your weight-loss goals on track!
Peppermint– Diffuse some peppermint throughout your day (not around children), or add a few drops to an aromatherapy inhaler and smell when stressed.
Jasmine– Inhaling directly from the bottle will do the trick. My go-to is dabbing a smidgen of jasmine with ylang-ylang on the wrists.
Grapefruit -Add 12 drops to an aromatherapy inhaler and use throughout the day (before and after meals) to uplift your mood and associate the scent with satiation.
Black Pepper -Black pepper is not always ideal for topical use because it can sometimes irritate skin. Therefore, just add a drop to a cotton ball and inhale anytime you feel overwhelmed with craving. Do this every time you crave a certain food, and it will condition your mind to move along.
Vanilla -Add some vanilla to your perfume. A personal favorite treat of mine is using vanilla-infused jojoba oil as my base. Check out this guide on how to make your own!
Neroli– When intensely craving, spritz yourself with neroli hydrosol. Repeated use will allow your brain to associate the aroma and ritual with the recognition to nom on a healthier option
I could go on and on about Sugar. It is so hard to avoid, but we must make the choice to, at least, moderate your sugar intake. It truly is vital to your health.
